Returning Volunteer Checklist

Ready… Set… Volunteer!

We’re so glad to have you returning this season. Please complete the steps below to help us start the year smoothly and safely.

  • Let us know when you can volunteer this year! Fill out this Availability Form

  • How to do this:

    1. Sign into Wranglr (if you need you need help with your username/password, email volunteers@hilltophorizons.org)

    2. Go to “Account” then “My Account” then “Edit”

    3. Confirm/Update

      • Contact information (phone, email, and address)

      • Emergency contact details

      • Shirt size

  • Complete the Volunteer Update Form

  • Complete the Online Volunteer Foundations Training to review all of the “need to know” information for volunteers.

    There are two parts:

    1. Volunteer Foundations - for ALL volunteers

    2. Program Support Volunteers - for Sidewalkers and Horse Handlers

    You will get credit for completion after you complete the Review Quiz for each part.

  • Refresh your volunteer skills while helping us get the horses ready to the program season!

    • Tuesday, 4/7/26, from 5:30pm - 7:30pm

    • Saturday, 4/11/26, from 10:00am - 12:00pm

    • Tuesday, 4/14, from 5:30pm - 7:30pm

    • Saturday, 4/18, from 10:00am - 12:00pm

    • Wednesday, 4/22/26, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm

    • Saturday, 4/25/26, from 11:00am - 1:00pm

*Note: Volunteer clearances are also updated once every 5 years - You will receive a separate email if you are due for renewal
