Adaptive Riding
OUR PROGRAM
Hilltop Horizons provides mounted and unmounted horsemanship activities that incorporate the educational, physical, social, and recreational goals of each individual student. These lessons may include grooming, tacking, riding, leading, and horse care activities.
Each lesson is conducted by a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor who follows the safety and education standards set forth by PATH Intl. Adaptive riding lessons are booked in 8-week increments that follow our program sessions (spring, summer, and fall) and require a free discovery session before enrolling.
Who we serve
Many individuals can benefit from adaptive riding lessons. Commonly served populations include those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Muscular Dystrophy, Down Syndrome, Intellectual and Developmental Disability, and Multiple Sclerosis - just to name a few.
