Horse Donation & Lease Interest Form

We look for a well rounded equines that will help make a difference in the lives of participants of all abilities.

We are looking for horses that are:
• Quiet and patient

• Sound with a consistent and steady gait at the walk, jog/trot and lope/canter

•Able to work alone or with other horses

The Options

• Care Lease

  • Cared for at Hilltop Horizons, Beaver County PA (March-November)

  • Hilltop covers routine care expenses in programming:

    • Vet care

    • All hay and grain

    • Farrier and Chiropractic Care

  • Horse or pony would return home at the end of the season

• Donation

  • After a successful 60 day trial, ownership is transferred to Hilltop Horizons at a tax deductible value of the horse

  • Horses live and are cared for by Hilltop Horizons full time

  • Hilltop Horizons reserves the right to sell or re-home any horse that is no longer suited for our program. When horses are ready to retire, they are first offered back to their original owner whenever possible and are then thoughtfully placed with a new owner who can meet their individual needs. The health, well-being, and best interest of each horse remain a top priority throughout this process.
